You'll work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting, influencing performance, reliability, and program success while solving hands-on engineering challenges across mechanical, electrical, avionics, software, and testing domains.

Qualifications

• U.S. Person status required.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2–4 years of engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of electric motor technologies and electro-mechanical principles.
• Knowledge of aircraft propulsion systems and vehicle performance fundamentals.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical CAD tools.
• Experience with battery technologies and energy storage solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support design, analysis, integration, and testing of propulsion and power systems.
• Evaluate motor technologies and select solutions meeting performance requirements.
• Analyze power consumption and energy requirements for mission objectives.
• Develop calculations and models for propulsion, loads, and energy storage.
• Support battery system selection, integration, and charging strategies.
• Perform trade studies on propulsion, motor, battery, and power management architectures.
• Create and maintain electrical and mechanical design documentation.
• Use CAD tools to design and integrate electro‑mechanical components.
• Collaborate with aeronautical, systems, avionics, software, and manufacturing engineers.
• Support prototype development, system integration, ground testing, and flight tests.
