Job summary

Fruition Group US is looking for Flight Dynamics & Aeromechanics Engineers at various levels to support the development of advanced aerospace systems. You will engage in projects involving flight mechanics and aerodynamics, working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a bachelor's, master’s, or Ph.D. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, with strong analytical skills. Preferred candidates have knowledge in MATLAB and experience in technical proposal writing.

Job description

We are a specialized engineering organization focused on advanced aerospace analysis, modeling, and simulation. Our team supports complex air vehicle development programs across government and commercial sectors, delivering high-fidelity solutions in aerodynamics, flight dynamics, and multidisciplinary system analysis.

The Role

We are seeking Flight Dynamics & Aeromechanics Engineers at junior, mid-level, and senior levels to support research, development, and analysis of advanced air vehicle systems. In this role, you will work on projects involving flight mechanics, aerodynamics, and integrated system modeling across a variety of aerospace applications.

You will contribute to both technical execution and business development efforts, operating in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where initiative and innovation are highly valued.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform flight dynamics and aeromechanics analysis for fixed-wing and/or rotorcraft systems
  • Develop and apply mathematical models and simulations to evaluate vehicle performance, stability, and control
  • Analyze and interpret data to support design decisions, trade studies, and research efforts
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across aerodynamics, controls, and systems engineering
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and client deliverables
  • Support proposal development, including technical writing, solution formulation, and cost estimation
  • Contribute to research initiatives and development of new analysis methods and capabilities
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Strong foundation in aerodynamics, fluid mechanics, flight dynamics, and control, aeroelasticity, aircraft design, or related disciplines
  • Experience with modeling, simulation, and analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or similar)
  • Proficiency in programming for engineering applications
  • Demonstrated experience in technical proposal writing and development (required)
  • Experience contributing to or leading research proposals, including bidding and winning work, is highly desirable
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly in both written and verbal formats
  • Experience working in collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environments
  • Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Candidates with a PhD or equivalent advanced experience are preferred
  • Experience working in a small business or entrepreneurial environment is highly valued
