Job summary

AV is offering a paid Summer Internship Program in the United States for AeroMechanical Engineering students. As an Aeromechanical Engineering Intern, you will help develop small UAV systems, work with IPT teams, and gain hands-on experience from concept to prototyping in a fast-paced environment.

The 12-week onsite program requires current enrollment in college or recent graduation, with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
Experience with SolidWorks for 3D modeling and assemblies.
Strong fundamentals in statics, dynamics, thermodynamics and materials.

Responsibilities

Assist in design and development of airframe structures and aeromechanical components for UAVs.
Create and modify 3D CAD models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
Support basic mechanical analysis with guidance from senior engineers.
Participate in prototype fabrication, 3D printing, and lab testing.
Help create and revise engineering drawings, BOMs, and documentation.
Contribute to technical presentations and design reviews.
Learn material selection and engineering trade-offs for multi-disciplinary systems.
Support design improvements and troubleshooting on current programs.
Perform other duties as assigned to support engineering goals.
