Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking an Aerodynamics Expert (contractor) for a global remote AI training project involving CFD, Python workflows, and engineering simulations. The ~15 hours/week role offers pay at $80–$130/hour with flexible scheduling.

You will tackle aerodynamic problems, develop CFD workflows, validate results, and review AI-generated solutions for accuracy, applying strong backgrounds in aerodynamics and CFD and Python scripting.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or BS + 1–2 years aerodynamics experience
• Strong aerodynamics and CFD knowledge with practical Python experience
• Experience with CLI/programmatic tools such as OpenFOAM, SU2, Gmsh, FEniCSx, SciPy, or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Solve and validate aerodynamic and fluid-dynamics problems.
• Develop computational models, geometries, meshes, and solver configurations.
• Run and automate CFD workflows using Python and CLI-based tools.
• Analyze lift, drag, pressure, velocity, and other simulation results.
• Diagnose mesh, convergence, stability, turbulence, and boundary-condition issues.
• Perform validation, sanity checks, and mesh-independence studies.
• Review AI-generated engineering solutions for technical accuracy
