YOUR ROLE
As the full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by managing Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts and ensuring an excellent guest experience. You oversee daily store operations as needed. You motivate and train associates, aiming to achieve strong sales results. Most importantly, you embody our company values and bring your authentic self to work every day.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive sales: As a key LOD, maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity, build guest loyalty through outstanding in-store service, and support Store Leadership in achieving KPI results.
- People leadership: Motivate and inspire the team through AEO's core values, serve as a role model, and uphold service standards on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
- Talent development: Recruit, hire, and train strong talent to ensure adequate staffing and ongoing associate development to maintain a Guest First culture.
- Teamwork and motivation: Set clear goals, provide real-time coaching, celebrate successes, and foster engagement among associates.
- Visual & operational innovation: Execute and improve visual merchandising, shipment processing, and operational standards, ensuring the Fitting Rooms are always guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
- Integrity: Maintain store safety, adhere to Asset Protection standards, follow company policies, and always do the right thing.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Passion for AE and Aerie products
- Previous retail management experience
- Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Business acumen
- Flexible availability to meet guest shopping hours
