YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by managing strong Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. You oversee daily store operations as needed. You motivate and train associates, drive sales results, and embody our company values by bringing your authentic self to work every day.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Driving sales: As a key LOD, you excel at increasing sales through maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and fostering guest loyalty via an outstanding in-store experience. You assist Store Leadership in seizing business opportunities to meet KPI targets.
2. People leadership: You motivate and inspire the team following AEO’s core values. You serve as a role model and ensure associates meet service standards, especially on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
3. Talent development: You prioritize recruiting and hiring strong talent to keep the store well-staffed. You are dedicated to training and developing associates to deliver exceptional service and uphold a Guest First culture.
4. Teamwork and performance management: You set clear, achievable goals for Sales and Stock Associates, provide ongoing coaching, and celebrate successes to boost engagement.
5. Visual & operational innovation: You execute and improve daily visual displays and operational procedures, including shipment processing, merchandising, and visual standards, ensuring the Fitting Rooms are guest-ready and aligned with Brand Standards.
6. Integrity: You maintain store safety, adhere to Asset Protection standards, follow company policies, and uphold ethical standards at all times.
