YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Selling Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader's "go-to" in developing and implementing the business strategy and leading the daily operations of the store. Your passion lies in training and coaching your team into high-performing sellers who consistently provide an unforgettable guest experience. Through your leadership, your team always meets their sales goals, maintains merchandising brand standards, and delivers operational excellence! Most importantly, you embody our company values and bring your genuine self to work every day.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Driving sales: As a key Leader on Duty (LOD), you excel at maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and building guest loyalty through superior guest experiences. You analyze reporting and daily trends to make strategic business decisions and contribute to the store’s financial success. You assist the Store Team Leader in developing short and long-term business plans to achieve key KPIs.
  • People leadership: You motivate and inspire your team through AEO's core values, serving as a role model and holding your team accountable to uphold AEO's customer service standards, especially on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
  • Talent development: You prioritize recruiting and hiring strong talent to meet business needs. You are dedicated to training and developing your team to ensure they deliver outstanding service and reach their full potential.
  • Teamwork and engagement: You believe that teamwork is essential. You provide ongoing performance feedback through real-time coaching, conduct team touch bases, development plans, and performance reviews, and celebrate your team's successes to foster engagement.
  • Operational innovation: You support daily operational procedures, maintain visual standards throughout the store, and ensure the Fitting Rooms are always guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
  • Integrity: You uphold store safety standards, adhere to Asset Protection policies, comply with AEO's policies and procedures, and always do the right thing.
