YOUR ROLE
As the full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by leading strong Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. You oversee daily store operations as needed, motivate and train associates, and drive sales results. Most importantly, you embody our company values and bring your authentic self to work every day.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive sales: As a key LOD, you maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity, build guest loyalty through outstanding in-store experiences, and support Store Leadership in achieving KPI results.
- Lead people: Motivate and inspire the team through AEO's core values. Serve as a role model and hold associates accountable to our service standards, especially on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
- Talent development: Recruit and hire strong talent, and train and develop associates to deliver excellent service and uphold a Guest First culture.
- Promote teamwork: Set clear, attainable goals for Sales and Stock Associates, provide ongoing feedback, and celebrate successes to motivate and engage the team.
- Visual & operational innovation: Execute and improve daily visual and operational procedures, including shipment processing, merchandising, and visual standards. Ensure the Fitting Rooms are guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
- Maintain integrity: Uphold store safety, asset protection, and adhere to AEO policies and procedures, always doing the right thing.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Passion for AE and Aerie products
- Previous retail management experience
- Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Business acumen
- Flexible availability to work during peak shopping times
