Job summary

Snowbird is seeking a Tram Operator to join the Tram, Lift & Gate (TLG) Operations team. You will operate Snowbird's Aerial Tram, assist guests during loading and unloading, and maintain safe operating areas while delivering informative announcements throughout the guest experience.

We emphasize a welcoming, inclusive culture with strong leadership focused on safety, service, and operational excellence. Expect on-call weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings in a fast-paced mountain

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and perform basic math functions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Aerial Tram safely and efficiently in accordance with established procedures.
• Assist guests with loading and unloading while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
• Monitor and maintain hazard-free loading and unloading platforms, walkways, and station areas.
• Complete required daily logs, inspections, and operational checks.
• Deliver tram announcements and provide guests with mountain information.
• Provide outstanding guest service and answer guest questions.
• Work closely with Lift Maintenance, Ski Patrol, and other resort departments to support safe and efficient mountain operations.
• Respond appropriately to changing weather, operational conditions, and guest needs.
• Support lift, gate, and dig crew operations as needed.
