Job summary

Team Fishel in Valparaiso, IN is seeking an Aerial/Overhead Telecom Lineman to handle new business projects within our Telecom Construction division. The role offers on-site work in Indiana and on-the-job safety training with flagging certification and tool operation.

You’ll perform pole setting, fiber installation/maintenance, and ensure OSHA safety standards while supporting team growth with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years experience in the industry.
• Experience with commercial deliveries and transport in the North Indiana area.
• Basic tools required could be climbing tools (Belt and Gaffs), basic hand tools, etc.
• Valid CDL-A is strongly desired.
• Bilingual and prior construction experience is highly desirable.

• Planning and Initiating Projects
• Establishing OSHA and Customer Safety Requirements
• Setting Poles
• Maintaining and Repairing Overhead Fiber Optic Facilities
• Installing New Strand and Lashing Fiber
• Installing and Maintaining Down Guys, Overhead Guys, etc.
• Building Risers, Installing Snow Shoes/Slack Coils
• Tree Trimming
