Job summary

Utilities One Group in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Aerial Lineman to join our operations team. You will install aerial and underground telecommunications cabling, including fiber optics, and perform pole transfers and new line installations.

This field role requires frequent travel to different job sites within the Indiana market, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders safely, and operate trucks-mounted lifts.

Qualifications

• A valid and unrestricted Driver's License.
• Previous Cable Placement experience.
• Ability to travel to different job sites very frequently.
• Ability to lift around 50 pounds, safely climb ladders, and work in all weather conditions.
• CDL is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install aerial & underground telecommunications cabling, including fiber optics.
• Undertake pole removal & pole transfers, and set & install new aerial cables.
• Safely operate specific equipment and machinery.
• Operate hydraulic aerial lifts and ladders mounted to trucks.
• Keep a detailed record of work activity.
• Travel to different job sites within the market.
