Bigham Cable Construction in Alabama is seeking a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew installing and maintaining fiber/telecom cables. This is an outdoor, hands-on role requiring physical work in all weather.

You’ll provide tools and materials, prep sites, and help manage equipment while adhering to safety standards and DOT guidelines. Prior telecom labor is a plus; must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.

Formación

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
