Globe Communications LLC is hiring a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew with installing and maintaining fiber/telecom cables and materials. The role involves providing tools and materials, moving equipment, and coordinating with the crew for safe, efficient field work.

The position requires 18+ years of age, legal authorization to work in the U.S., a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to become a pole climber if not already certified.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record is required.
• Certification as a pole climber or willingness to become certified is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills
