Job summary

Star Construction, LLC is seeking a Telecom Aerial Foreman to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems. You will ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while guiding on-site teams.

You’ll coordinate installation of fiber and telecom cables, supervise crew performance, and travel for storm response as needed. A strong safety mindset and 3+ years in related work are essential for this on-site role.

Qualifications

To be 18 years of age or older.
Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record.
Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card.
At least 3 years of related work experience.
To be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified.
CDL Class “A” driver license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
Ensure work areas are safe and that traffic flows smoothly while on the job
Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders
Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws
Provide guidance and support to others as needed
Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice
Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance
Other duties as assigned
