Looking for an opportunity to make a difference? Then you may have found your next career move. We’re seeking an Aerial Lineman Trainee to join our team and help connect America. The Aerial Lineman Trainee will perform aerial cable installation procedures, including the placement of poles and anchors.

What you’ll do…

• Install and repair aerial telecommunications cable
• Safely use hand tools and equipment such as wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, climbing hooks, and more
• Operate mechanized equipment like bucket trucks, digger derricks, excavators, and others
• Set up safety perimeters with signage, cones, and barriers
• Flag traffic when required
• Understand separation and clearance regulations
• Work aloft using climbing hooks and ladders safely
• Maintain safe work habits and conditions according to all regulations, procedures, and policies

Who we are looking for…

• At least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Able to pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a valid medical card
• Valid standard Driver's License or Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Previous construction experience, preferably in telecommunications
• Knowledge of aerial cable installation procedures and techniques
• Ability to climb telephone poles, work in bucket trucks, and climb poles up to 40 feet
• Ability to perform telecommunications construction duties such as pole transfers, maintenance, new builds, cable installation, lashings, and strand construction
• Capable of lifting/carrying 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed
• Willing to work overtime, after hours, weekends, for emergencies, or on-call
• Able to maintain a safe work environment
• Capable of working in all weather conditions
• Willing to travel as required
• Experience with splicing active and passive equipment is a plus
