Job summary

Primoris Services Corp. in Converse, TX is hiring for Aerial Labor-Non Driver to assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial fiber optic and copper cable infrastructure. The role requires climbing poles, lifting up to 75 lbs, working at heights, and complying with safety and OSHA standards.

You will load and organize materials, support skilled technicians, and perform ground-level duties while adhering to company procedures. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in telecommunications, construction, or similar field is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand, climb, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial fiber optic and copper cable infrastructure.
• Climb utility poles and work from elevated platforms or buckets as required, following all safety protocols.
• Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment at job sites.
• Dig trenches, pull cable, and perform other ground-level duties to support aerial operations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper handling and disposal of waste materials.
• Follow directions from supervisors and more experienced technicians.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment as needed (non-driving related).
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as OSHA regulations.
