Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is seeking an Aerial Lift Trimmer in Missouri to trim, prune, and remove trees using bucket trucks or similar equipment. Prior aerial lift experience and a valid driver’s license are required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

You’ll work with a crew, follow safety rules, and help with storm restoration when needed. The role emphasizes tree maintenance near power lines and requires physical fitness, rope work, and PPE use.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in electric utility vegetation management or related fields preferred.
• Experience operating an aerial lift preferred.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Always follow and help enforce safe practices and rules.
• Assist in preparing truck and materials needed for each day.
• Perform professional tree maintenance as directed by Foreperson.
• Clear and trim trees near utility lines; remove branches.
• Clean up and dispose of debris.
• Maintain and track tools and equipment.
• Observe climbing and tree maintenance skills and improve.
• Assist other crew members as needed.
• Safeguard employees and public from hazards and maintain a clean work area.
• Perform storm restoration duties as needed.
