Job summary

CMC North America is seeking an entry-level service technician to support inspection, diagnostics, and repair of aerial lifts. You will learn to diagnose hydraulic, electrical, and sensor issues in a hands-on role with field travel within the United States and Canada.

The position offers training, growth, and a full benefits package. You will work with CANBUS networks and sensor systems, using Windows-based diagnostics and mobile tools to document work orders and communicate with customers.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical and hydraulic systems preferred.
• Field mechanic experience highly preferred.
• Must use Windows to interface with diagnostics.
• Must be able to use a smartphone for field dispatch and communications tools.
• Willingness to travel locally within the United States on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Perform Pre-delivery Inspections on lifts to inspect and prepare them for customers.
• Assist senior technicians in repair and diagnostics of lifts and other equipment.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and sensor issues in the shop.
• Inspect and prepare lifts before and after rental.
• Document repair reports with issue and resolution steps.
• Use laptops and mobile devices to manage work orders and track issues.
• Safely transport equipment in shop and at customer sites.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service (when qualified).
• Perform in-shop duties as required.
