Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Telecom Aerial Foreman to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You’ll serve as the on-site expert, guiding and supporting junior crew members.

The role requires leading a crew, coordinating daily work, and being available for storm response with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
• Certified pole climber or willing to become certified.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• DOT physical | medical card required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems per codes and customer requirements.
• Safely operate bucket truck, digger derrick, and excavators.
• Ensure work areas are safe and traffic flows smoothly on site.
• Work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
• Use hand and power tools and document daily productivity and safety.
• Provide guidance to junior crew members and coordinate daily work orders.
• Be available for storm response on short notice.
• Perform crew checks for safety compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Safely use equipment like bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators
• Ensure work areas are safe and that traffic flows smoothly while on the job
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving recordMust be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• At least 3 years of related work experience
• To be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified
• CDL Class “A” driver license is preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, at heights in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift objects greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use keyboard and mouse
