What you'll do :

  • Be the ground hand for technicians, provide parts as needed, move bucket truck as directed by technician.
  • Confirm that door-tagging and resident notification of our construction activities has been completed prior to starting each workday.
  • Ensure daily inspection and maintenance of fleet vehicles and equipment is performed and documented. If appropriately licensed, drive company vehicles as needed to jobsite.
  • Use tools and rigging hardware to perform normal tasks associated with installation of antenna and lines
  • Climbing of Poles/towers to perform the installation of antenna and line systems
  • Fitting of connectors, attachment of coax to support system sealing and joints
  • Mounting of antenna support systems



Who we are looking for:

  • At least 18 years old
  • Authorized to work in the United States for this company
  • Currently have valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
  • Prior experience within the Telecommunications or Utility Construction/Maintenance industry (preferred)
  • May have an understanding of installation and testing of the latest technologies (LTE, CDMA, UMTS) - Anritzu/PIMM certification a plus
  • Able to operate various types of utility trucks, equipment, and hand tools in a safe manner
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to follow directions, produce quality work, maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all Federal, State, and Company regulations and policies
  • Can communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.
  • Able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance
  • Able to work as needed (over-time, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies or on-call) and in all weather conditions
