Job summary

Jan-Care Ambulance, Inc. is seeking an EMT-I to join our EMS team in West Virginia. The role focuses on safe and compassionate ambulance transport, patient care, and adherence to state protocols while serving rural and metropolitan communities.

Responsibilities include maintaining EMS certifications, responding to emergencies, and performing event stand-by operations. Requires 18+, high school diploma, EMT-I, and valid driver’s license; benefits are provided through our state-of-the-art training

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or its equivalent.
• EMT-I certification and valid driver’s license.
• Background checks: OIG, Criminal History, Driving History, Child/Elder Abuse.
• Maintain valid certifications (CPR, ACLS, PHTLS, PALS).

Responsibilities

• Attend orientation sessions for EMS operations and compliance.
• Provide out-of-hospital care and safe ambulance transport per state protocols.
• Respond to callback or emergency situations and assist in tasks as assigned.
• Maintain professional appearance and hygiene, and perform station/ambulance upkeep.
• Lead event stand-by operations at sporting events and community festivals.
