Requirements

We are seeking a skilled AEM Developer to join our Capco Technology Delivery Team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development, including designing and implementing AEM components, templates, workflows, and services. This role requires a full-stack development background with expertise in Java, Java EE, Apache Sling, OSGi, and front-end technologies. The candidate will collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure high-performance, scalable, and reliable AEM-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement AEM-based solutions, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Design and architect AEM solutions based on business requirements, aligning with industry best practices.
  • Create and customize AEM components, dialogs, widgets, templates, and workflows.
  • Develop reusable AEM components and integrate with third-party systems.
  • Perform AEM back-end development, producing Java libraries, REST, Sling, and SOAP integrations.
  • Define component structures, path management, Vanity URLs, Asset management, Dynamic Media, and Tag management.
  • Optimize AEM infrastructure, ensuring security, performance, and scalability.
  • Perform Adobe Product Administrative tasks, including system setup, performance tuning, and security.
  • Work in an Agile/SCRUM development environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Mandatory Skills:
  • AEM Development – Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Backend & Frontend Development – Experience in Apache Sling, OSGi bundles, and Apache Web Server.
  • AEM Cloud Services – End-to-end implementations of AEM as a cloud service.
  • SDLC & Agile Methodologies – Strong knowledge of SCRUM/Agile frameworks.
  • Infrastructure & Security – Experience with AEM infrastructure setup, security, and performance optimization.
Good to Have Skills:
  • Experience with Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms apart from AEM.
  • Proficiency with DevOps & CI/CD tools: JIRA, Confluence, Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, etc.
  • Strong UX/UI understanding and web component development.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
