Job summary

BGE, Inc. is seeking a Proposal Manager to join our Marketing Team in Houston. The role focuses on leading and delivering winning proposals for public clients, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with procedures and deadlines.

Experience with Adobe InDesign is key, and the candidate will work with local leaders and technical staff to craft compelling, compliant proposals that drive business development and project acquisition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of proposal management experience, preferably in engineering or construction.
• Experience leading TxDOT proposals.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Strong proofreading, formatting, writing, and editing skills.
• Familiarity with OpenAsset and Dynamics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end proposal process from RFQ/SOQ/RFP to submission.
• Coordinate with pursuit team and technical staff to develop win themes.
• Schedule, track, and manage proposal milestones and color reviews.
• Edit and tailor materials; interview staff as needed.
• Ensure RFP compliance, branding, and timely delivery of proposals.
• Supervise, mentor, and collaborate with multiple pursuits and teams.
