YOUR ROLE
As the full-time Selling Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader's "go-to" person in developing and implementing the business strategy and leading the daily operations of the store. Your passion lies in training and coaching your team into high-performing sellers who consistently provide an unforgettable guest experience. Through your leadership, your team always meets their sales goals, maintains merchandising brand standards, and delivers operational excellence! Most importantly, you represent our company values and bring your authentic self to work every day.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Driving sales: As a key Leader on Duty (LOD), you excel at maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and building guest loyalty through a top-tier guest experience. You analyze reporting and daily trends to make strategic business decisions and support the Store Team Leader in developing business plans to improve key KPIs.
- People leadership: You motivate and inspire your team through AEO's core values, serve as a role model, and hold your team accountable to uphold AEO's customer service standards on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
- Talent development: You prioritize recruiting and hiring strong talent, and you train and develop your team to ensure they deliver outstanding service.
- Teamwork and engagement: You foster a collaborative environment by providing ongoing performance feedback, conducting touch bases, development plans, and performance reviews, and celebrating team successes.
- Operational innovation: You execute and improve daily operational procedures, support visual standards, and ensure the Fitting Rooms are guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
- Integrity: You uphold store safety, Asset Protection standards, follow policies and procedures, and always do the right thing.
