YOUR ROLE
As the full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by managing strong Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts and ensuring an excellent guest experience. You oversee daily store operations as needed, train and motivate associates, and drive sales results. Most importantly, you embody our company values and bring your authentic self to work every day.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Driving sales: As a key LOD, you maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity, build guest loyalty, and support Store Leadership in achieving KPI results.
- People leadership: You motivate and inspire the team through AEO's core values, serve as a role model, and uphold service standards on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
- Talent development: You prioritize recruiting and hiring strong talent, and focus on training and developing associates to provide outstanding service and uphold a Guest First culture.
- Teamwork: You set clear goals, provide ongoing feedback, motivate, and celebrate team successes to foster engagement.
- Visual & operational innovation: You execute and innovate visual and operational procedures, including shipment processing, merchandising, and visual standards, ensuring the Fitting Rooms are guest-ready and meet AEO Brand Standards.
- Integrity: You maintain store safety, adhere to Asset Protection standards, follow policies and procedures, and do the right thing always.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Passion for AE and Aerie products
- Previous retail management experience
- Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, priority-setting, and time management skills
- Business acumen
- Flexible availability to work when guests shop
