YOUR ROLE
As the full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by managing strong Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts and ensuring an excellent guest experience. You oversee daily store operations as needed, train, motivate, and celebrate associates, and drive sales results. Most importantly, you embody our company values and bring your authentic self to work every day.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive sales with passion: As a key LOD, you maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity, build guest loyalty through exceptional in-store experiences, and support Store Leadership in achieving KPI results.
- Lead people: Motivate and inspire the team through AEO's core values, serve as a role model, and uphold service standards on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
- Talent and training: Recruit, hire, and develop strong talent to ensure adequate staffing and ongoing associate growth, fostering outstanding service and a Guest First culture.
- Promote teamwork: Set clear, achievable goals for Sales and Stock Associates, provide real-time coaching, and celebrate successes to boost engagement.
- Visual & operational innovation: Execute and improve daily visual and operational procedures, including shipment processing, merchandising, and visual standards, ensuring the Fitting Rooms are guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
- Maintain integrity: Uphold store safety, Asset Protection standards, adhere to policies and procedures, and always do the right thing.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Passion for AE and Aerie products
- Previous retail management experience
- Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Business acumen
- Flexible availability to meet guest shopping hours
