Job description

YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by leading strong Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts and ensuring an excellent guest experience. You manage daily store operations as needed. You motivate and train associates and are passionate about achieving sales goals. Most importantly, you embody our company values and bring your authentic self to work every day.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Drive sales: As a key LOD, you maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and build guest loyalty through outstanding in-store service. You support Store Leadership in maximizing business opportunities to meet KPIs.
  2. Lead people: You motivate and inspire your team, modeling AEO's core values. You hold associates accountable to uphold service standards, especially on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
  3. Talent development: You prioritize recruiting and hiring strong talent. You train and develop associates to ensure excellent service and a Guest First culture.
  4. Teamwork: You set clear, attainable goals for Sales and Stock Associates and provide ongoing coaching. You motivate and celebrate outstanding performance to foster engagement.
  5. Visual & operational innovation: You execute and improve daily visual and operational procedures, including shipment processing, merchandising, and visual standards. You ensure the Fitting Rooms are guest-ready and aligned with Brand Standards.
  6. Integrity: You maintain store safety, adhere to Asset Protection standards, follow policies and procedures, and always do the right thing.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You love AE and Aerie products!
  • You have previous retail management experience.
  • You are skilled at multitasking, attention to detail, prioritization, and time management.
  • You possess business acumen.
  • You have flexible availability to match guest shopping hours.
