YOUR ROLE
As the full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by leading strong Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts and ensuring an excellent guest experience. You manage daily store operations as needed, train, motivate, and celebrate associates, and have a passion for driving sales results. Most importantly, you embody our company values and bring your authentic self to work every day.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive sales: As a key LOD, you maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity, build guest loyalty through exceptional in-store service, and support Store Leadership in achieving KPI results.
- Lead people: Motivate and inspire the team through AEO's core values. Serve as a role model and hold associates accountable to service standards, especially on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
- Talent development: Recruit, hire, and train strong talent to ensure adequate staffing. Develop associates to deliver outstanding service and uphold a Guest First culture.
- Teamwork: Set clear, attainable goals for Sales and Stock Associates, provide ongoing feedback, and celebrate successes to boost engagement.
- Operational & visual innovation: Execute and improve daily visual and operational procedures, including shipment processing, merchandising, and visual standards. Ensure the Fitting Rooms are guest-ready and meet Brand Standards.
- Integrity: Maintain store safety, adhere to Asset Protection standards, follow policies and procedures, and do the right thing always.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Passion for AE and Aerie products
- Previous retail management experience
- Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Business acumen
- Flexible availability to match guest shopping hours
