YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by managing strong Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts and ensuring a stellar guest experience. You oversee daily store operations as needed, train, motivate, and celebrate associates, and have a passion for driving sales results. Most importantly, you embody our company values and bring your authentic self to work every day.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive sales: As a key LOD, you maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and build guest loyalty through an exceptional in-store experience. You support Store Leadership in maximizing business opportunities to meet KPI targets.
• Lead people: You motivate and inspire the team through AEO's core values. You serve as a role model and hold associates accountable to uphold AEO's service standards, especially on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
• Talent development: You prioritize recruiting and hiring strong talent to ensure optimal staffing. You are committed to training and developing associates to provide outstanding service and uphold a Guest First culture.
• Teamwork and coaching: You set clear, attainable goals for Sales and Stock Associates, provide ongoing performance feedback through real-time coaching, and motivate associates by celebrating successes.
• Visual & operational innovation: You execute and innovate daily visual and operational procedures, including shipment processing, merchandising, and visual standards. You ensure Fitting Rooms are always guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
• Integrity: You maintain store safety standards, adhere to Asset Protection policies, follow AEO's policies and procedures, and always do the right thing.
