Job summary

Monarch Healthcare in Southern Pines, NC is seeking a Developmental Specialist Vocational to build positive relationships with individuals while helping them reach personal goals outlined in their plans.

Qualifications

• Experience working with adults with mental health diagnoses and/or developmental disabilities.
• High School Diploma required.
• Valid driver's license (USA)

Responsibilities

• Assess individuals' hopes, dreams, and goals and provide supports to help achieve them.
• Protect and promote the rights of individuals receiving services and assist with advocacy.
• Serve as a resource on community agencies and supports meeting identified needs.
• Supervise and monitor individuals in work settings and maintain safety in community and job sites.
• Complete daily progress notes, timesheets, and other required documentation.
• Provide orientation, mentoring, and training to staff; sleepover may be required.
