Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking an Access & Advocacy Specialist (Pool) to support students through the Academic Recovery Program and other retention initiatives. The role emphasizes advocacy, collaboration with faculty and staff, and coordinating campus and community resources.

The position reports to the Assistant Dean of Student Engagement and Retention. A Master’s degree and three years of related experience are preferred, with strong communication and organizational skills

• Master's degree and three years related work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Serve students on ARP probation and suspension.
• Develop relationships with faculty, staff and community partners.
• Provide direct and referral services to students.
• Promote college-wide activities supporting student success.
• Analyze information to assess interests, abilities and barriers.
• Make recommendations to administration to improve services.
• Coordinate referrals to college and community services.
• Educate students about available services including financial aid and counseling.
• Assist with personal and academic goal planning.
