Job summary

Reproductive Freedom for All in Washington, DC is seeking a Political Associate to support endorsement processes and election cycles. You will work closely with the political team to monitor campaigns, develop effective strategies, and produce written materials related to electoral work.

You will collaborate with state campaigns, engage with parties and PACs, and help coordinate with the Senior Political Director to advance our goals. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or demonstrated critical thinking and research skills.
• 1-3 years’ work experience required; advanced degree may substitute for up to two years.
• Campaign experience and familiarity with the electoral process.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and timelines.
• Commitment to anti-racism, diversity, equity, and inclusion in our work.
• Desire to support marginalized communities in alignment with our mission.

Responsibilities

• Track and evaluate candidates seeking endorsements and PAC contributions; provide strategic recommendations.
• Serve as liaison between candidates, campaigns, and the organization across departments.
• Build relationships with political parties, elected officials, staff, and PACs as directed.
• Collaborate with finance to ensure timely PAC contributions and maintain budget records.
• Maintain data and prepare briefings for leadership and boards; perform administrative duties.
• Travel occasionally to work with candidates, partner organizations and allies.
• Other duties consistent with responsibilities and qualifications.
