Job summary

Advocacy Rising is hiring for a Senior Associate to lead state and local policy campaigns. The role involves working with senior clients and coalition leaders to shape campaign strategy and execution, fully remote with up to 15% travel within the U.S.

The Senior Associate will independently lead engagements, drive coalition leadership, conduct advocacy research, and provide strategic recommendations across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in state or local legislative advocacy or public policy.
• Experience leading multiple state/local campaigns independently.
• Experience building and leading coalitions with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to translate complex information into client-ready materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple policy campaigns across up to three states or localities.
• Develop campaign strategy, timelines, and client relationships.
• Build and guide coalitions and executive committees.
• Translate research into actionable policy and campaign plans.
• Manage client engagements and ensure timely delivery.
