Job summary

Threadneedle group is seeking a Team Lead for Advisory Trading in Charlotte, NC, combining hands-on trading with team leadership and continuous improvement. You will oversee advisory trading workflows, ensure accuracy and timely execution, and manage escalations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3–5 years in advisory trading or related finance, strong analytical skills, and a focus on risk controls and client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in advisory trading, portfolio operations, wealth management, or related financial services.
• Proven ability to lead through influence while also performing individual contributor work.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, trading operations, and risk controls.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and guidance to a team of advisory trading associates.
• Independently execute and oversee advisory trading activities, including model implementation and portfolio rebalancing.
• Identify, escalate, and mitigate operational, trading, and regulatory risks.
• Lead process improvements and collaborate with tech/business partners on automation.
• Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners and communicate effectively about trading activity.
