Job summary

NexPoint is hiring an Internal Wholesaler to grow advisor relationships and promote NexPoint's family of funds across Wirehouse, independent broker/dealer, and RIA channels. The role focuses on selling mutual funds and other registered products, building credibility, and increasing assets under management.

The position requires 1-3+ years of experience, a finance/business-related degree, Series 7 & 63 licenses, and strong communication skills. Travel and 45+ hour workweeks are common.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, Communications and/or related field.
• Must hold Series 7 & 63.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with financial advisors and present NexPoint products.
• Perform follow-up to advance sales and deepen partnerships.
• Create portfolio and mutual fund analyses for advisors using Zephyr and Morningstar.
• Partner with Regional Sales Directors on territory management.
• Provide resources to advisors for positioning NexPoint investment strategies.
• Represent NexPoint in cross-department projects and training programs.
• Travel to meet clients as needed.
