Lord Abbett is seeking a Head of Advisor Consultant Performance in the New Jersey area. This leader will own day-to-day desk execution, productivity, and performance management forAdvisor Consultants beyond their first year, driving coaching, data-driven insights, and adoption of CRM and related tools.

The role reports to the Head of Internal Sales and collaborates with multiple teams to improve coverage, prioritization of high-value opportunities, and adoption of data-driven processes.

Qualifications

• 7-8 years of firm or relevant industry experience in advisor consultant or sales leadership.
• Strong understanding of markets, the firm, and sales processes.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and hold others accountable while maintaining trust and credibility.
• Commitment to inclusive leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead Advisor Consultants beyond their first year through coaching, call reviews, feedback, accountability, and career development.
• Translate Internal Sales priorities into clear expectations, measurable actions, and disciplined execution.
• Monitor CRM, activity, productivity, output, and performance data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities; recommend actions and reinforce high-quality follow-up.
• Support coverage alignment, territory management, Regional Manager partnership, client inquiries, sales execution, and prioritization of high-value opportunities.
• Partner with CRM, CIS, Technology, and other stakeholders to improve desk efficiency and adopt tools and processes.
• Serve as a visible desk leader and model a collaborative, accountable culture focused on coaching and continuous improvement.
