Indiana University Health System is seeking a Change Management Lead to design, implement, and monitor change plans across complex transformations. You will equip stakeholders with the knowledge and resources needed to transition smoothly, foster adoption, and minimize disruption while aligning with organizational goals.
You will lead workshops, assess readiness and resistance, and partner with training, operations, and communications teams to deliver a cohesive change approach.
Supports the Change Lead and Manager, project managers, workstream leads, and impacted groups during complex organizational transformation initiatives. Independently designs, implements, monitors, and refines change plans through transfer of ownership to business owners. Equips stakeholders both internal and external to the project team with the skills, knowledge, ability, resources, and support needed to transition through change. Fosters adoption, minimizes disruption, manages resistance, and supports sustained organizational success and optimization. Acts as a change advocate by fostering a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement across teams. Provides guidance and technical support rooted in change methodology expertise to project team members, managers, team leaders, and stakeholders. Designs and implements change plans, timelines, and deliverables aligned with organizational transformation goals. Conducts change impact, readiness, stakeholder, adoption, and resistance assessments. Leads workshops and meetings to communicate change strategies, change impacts, adoption needs, risks, and progress. Monitors progress against milestones and adjusts change plans as needed. Tracks stakeholder feedback, adoption indicators, and change risks. Develops and refines tools, templates, documentation, and processes to streamline change activities. Leverages change software and tools such as Prosci and ADKAR to track progress and measure outcomes. Maintains detailed documentation of change processes, decisions, and outcomes for accountability and future reference. Supports transition-of-ownership planning to ensure sustainable handoff to business owners. Assists in planning and developing programs/projects. Provides hands-on technical support and guidance to teams and individuals during transitions. Ensures impacted stakeholders have the knowledge, ability, and resources needed to adopt the change. Identifies areas of resistance and works closely with teams to address challenges and ensure stakeholder buy-in. Develops and implements contingency plans to mitigate risks related to resistance or unexpected adoption setbacks. Ensures alignment of change strategies with organizational needs, project goals, operational priorities, and stakeholder expectations. Partners with training, communication, operational, and consulting teams to deliver a cohesive change approach. Acts as a liaison between leadership, project teams, business owners, and impacted groups to support consistent messaging and stakeholder alignment. Develops and delivers change-related training programs to equip stakeholders with knowledge and skills needed to adapt effectively. Provides guidance and technical support to managers and team leaders to help them guide their teams through change. Provides guidance, direction, and training to staff on change methodology areas of specialization. Continuously improves the organization’s change fluency and capability through tools, templates, standards, training, and practical application.
