Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking an Advisor Batch Programmer Analyst to contribute to Medicaid Claims and EDI processing using UNIX/LINUX, C, Oracle/SQL Server. Fully remote with US-wide opportunities, travel 0–10% and a flexible schedule to meet business needs.

The role requires 6+ years in application development with a strong SDLC background, plus leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide senior and junior engineers across teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Application Development using C, Unix/Linux, and Oracle/SQL Server.
• 2+ years of Medicaid Claims and EDI Processing Systems experience.
• Experience with the Full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Application Implementation.
• Knowledge of System Integration, OSB, and MFT preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Head up technical teams and workstreams as you design, develop, test and install complex database applications software — with server, client and web components.
• Oversee relationships between application architects and developers to ensure design requirements yield flexible, reusable system components.
• Write detailed design, coding and testing documentation for purpose-built technical products.
• Act as SME in development, domain, application design and database methodologies and best practices.
• Provide clients with technical consulting on highly complex projects by refining existing apps and designing new modules and components.
• Mentor and guide less experienced application designers.

What we’re looking for

• 6+ years of Application Development experience using C, Unix/Linux, and Oracle/SQL Server
• 2+ years of Medicaid Claims and EDI Processing Systems experience

• Knowledge of System Integration, OSB, and MFT preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams

The pay range for this position is $90,900.00 - $129,900.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
