Job summary

Nexstar Media in Johnson City, TN is seeking a Sales Account Executive to drive new local direct business and grow advertising revenue by calling on established clients and by prospecting new opportunities. You will deliver compelling presentations, develop advertising schedules with clients and station personnel, and explain how TV, Digital, OTT/CTV, Search and Social can meet campaign goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or Mass Communications, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• Minimum one year's experience in sales.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience achieving long-range objectives and implementing the strategies and actions to achieve them.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive new local direct business and grow ad revenue.
• Call on established clients and cold prospects.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations.
• Develop advertising schedules with clients and station personnel.
• Explain benefits of various advertising platforms.
• Provide clients with information regarding rates for advertising placement.
