Nexstar Media Group, Inc. is hiring a Sales Account Executive in Knoxville, TN to drive local TV advertising revenue. You will contact agencies and prospects, present solutions, and build lasting client relationships while coordinating with station teams to deliver compelling campaigns.

The role requires a marketing/advertising background and at least one year in sales. A valid driver’s license is required, with a focus on achieving revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or Mass Communications, or related field.
• Minimum one year’s sales experience, preferably in media.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience achieving long-range objectives and implementing strategies to reach them.
• Proficiency with computers, phones, copiers, scanners, and fax machines.

Responsabilités

• Generates advertising revenue by calling on established agencies, cold-calling new prospects and convincing clients of TV advertising merits.
• Implements strategies to grow revenue and exceed goals.
• Establishes credible relationships with the local business community.
• Makes sales calls on existing and prospective clients and maintains accounts.
• Delivers sales presentations and explains advertising options and rates.
• Develops advertising schedules with clients and station personnel.
• Collaborates with clients and staff to create effective advertisements.
