Job summary

The Star Beacon News is seeking an Advertising Sales Executive (full-time) with at least 1 year of sales experience. You will work with local business clients in a designated area to tailor a portfolio of multi-platform marketing products to their goals.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has a proven sales track record, and can leverage digital sales experience to drive growth. Must be 18+ with reliable transportation. Base pay plus commissions and competitive benefits are offered.

This position works with business clients in a designated geographic area to match their goals and needs to our portfolio of multi-platform marketing products.

The Job Responsibilities

• Seeks business opportunities by identifying prospects.
• Conduct a needs analysis to determine what products best fit the client's goals.
• Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
• Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities.
• Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; bench marking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of achieving sales goals and be self motivated. Digital sales considered a plus.

Must be at least 18 years of age and have reliable transportation.
