Job summary

Lee Enterprises in Lincoln, NE is seeking an Advertising Operations Associate to keep the sales engine running smoothly. You will connect sales, finance and operations to ensure accurate revenue reporting, resolve billing questions and support day-to-day ad operations.

Based in Lincoln, this role offers the chance to work with data, manage multiple priorities and influence business performance through accurate reporting, campaign coordination and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in advertising sales coordination or a similar role.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HubSpot.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sales Performance Tracking & Reporting: monitor revenue to goal, active accounts, and sales activity; provide timely reporting.
• Pre- and Post-Sales Support: assist sales cycle from research to order entry, billing and follow-up.
• Revenue Analysis: research invoice questions and resolve revenue-related issues with cross-team collaboration.
• Sales Tracking & Project Management: maintain trackers for campaigns and projects; track deadlines and results.
• Financial Reporting: prepare P&L statements for advertising projects and publications.
• Data Management & Sales Intelligence: compile historical client spend and campaign tactics for revenue opportunities.
• Advertising Campaign Coordination: liaise between sales and operations to ensure smooth order processing and timely campaigns.
• Digital Advertising Knowledge: understand Google, Meta/Facebook and programmatic ads to support the team.
