Job summary

Adams Outdoor Advertising is seeking an experienced Account Representative in Madison, WI to sell outdoor advertising concepts to current and prospective clients using existing inventory while ensuring customer satisfaction.

The role focuses on smaller accounts ($10,000 or less yearly) and aims to grow revenue, manage contracts and renewals, and coordinate with sales management to maximize opportunities, including handling call-ins and meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years direct media or relevant sales experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with computer software and technology.

Responsibilities

• Sell outdoor advertising campaigns via upselling, cold calling, and ongoing discussions with clients.
• Identify advertising needs of clients based on product features and benefits and propose suitable recommendations.
• Prepare accurate advertising contracts and schedules for approval by Sales Management and client.
• Meet and/or exceed stated annual revenue growth objectives; manage accounts and renewals.
• Maintain long-term relationships with clients and handle call-ins to assess revenue opportunities.
• Facilitate face-to-face meetings with clients when required and complete all sales paperwork.
