Job summary

Cotopaxi is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for our Jackson, WY store. This entry-level, full-time role partners with the Store Manager to coach a best-in-class team, drive daily operations, and nurture a welcoming, mission-driven store culture where guests and Guides feel seen and inspired.

You’ll oversee scheduling, inventory, and visual merchandising while helping hit KPIs and store performance, supporting local events and partnerships, and stepping in for Store Manager when needed.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail experience, in a Supervisor or Assistant Manager capacity.
• Strong ownership mindset with a focus on developing people.
• Adaptable and able to solve problems in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience with operational tools (POS, scheduling, inventory systems).
• Confident on the sales floor, able to lead and prioritize effectively.
• Love for community, adventure, and supporting Cotopaxi's Do Good mission.
• Flexible scheduling including holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/work on feet for shifts.
