Job summary

YMCA Camp Greenville is seeking a cause-driven and impactful leader to fulfill the role of the Adventure Division Leader. This person will serve on our summer leadership team and assist in leading our adventure program, coordinating trips and connecting adventure with base camp.

Qualifications

Must be at least 20 years old by June 2027.
CPR/First Aid certified or ability to obtain prior to June 2027.
Meet Camp Greenville minimum requirements to drive a 15 passenger mini bus.
Clean MVR check (Motor Vehicle Record).

Responsibilities

Oversee and supervise multiple adventure areas (backcountry camping, ropes course, mountain biking, caving, rafting, rock climbing, canoeing, backpacking).
Lead and train adventure staff in trip conduct, program aspects, and safety.
Collaborate with base camp and other division leaders for summer packing and logistics.
Support senior leadership in program management and decision making.
Create trip schedules, order food, and purchase supplies and equipment.
Assist with high-adventure activities (high ropes, zip lines).
Evaluate staff performance throughout the summer.
