YMCA of Greenville is seeking an Adventure Cabin Leader for Camp Greenville's summer program. You will guide a cabin group of campers aged 10-17 and support outdoor trips, fostering connection, confidence and character through immersive wilderness experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or graduated high school by June 2027.
• CPR/First Aid certified or ability to obtain prior to June 2027.
• Experience working with youth ages 10 to 17.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct guidance and supervision to a cabin group of campers aged 10-17 and assist adventure trip leaders.
• Live with cabin group on camp and trips with 24/7 supervision.
• Ensure health and well‑being of campers mentally, emotionally, and physically.
• Manage assigned adventure trips including backpacking, camping, rock climbing, caving, whitewater rafting, mountain biking, and canoeing.
• Teach activities, assist evening and weekend programming, and lead campers in free time activities.
• Serve as a role model upholding camp values with integrity, creativity, and safety.
