Job summary

Mount Hermon Association is seeking an Adventures Operations Manager to lead the Adventures Department's administrative functions in alignment with the organization’s mission and standards. This ministerial role involves coordinating staffing, calendars, and communications while upholding hospitality for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Requires college degree OR significant, documented, relevant experience.
• Some administrative experience is required.
• Experience with payroll, scheduling and calendar management is preferred.
• Ability to work within and contribute to a positive team setting with diverse people.
• Demonstrated superior communication and interactions with staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Adventures Director with administrative roles such as tracking staff certifications & trainings, calendar management, and disseminating information to staff.
• Schedule, forecast, and optimize staffing with the management team.
• Communicate clearly with staff across departments: Program, Registration, Guest Services, HR, and Accounting.
• Represent MH Adventures in interdepartmental meetings as needed.
• Supervise Operations Supervisor and Customer Service Team during sales process (inquiry, booking, billing, follow-up).
• Oversee Adventure Retail sales, including product decisions, ordering and stocking.
• Lead with hospitality in all guest and staff interactions.
• Improve operational systems and contribute to long-term planning and growth.
