SPSV ENTERTAINMENT LLC is seeking an Adventure Crew team member to support guests across Outdoor Adventure attractions at SkyPark. You will help ensure a safe, enjoyable and memorable experience, enforce safety protocols, and create a welcoming environment in your program area.

You will need strong communication, be proactive with guest engagement, follow activity guidelines, assist with equipment handling, and report safety concerns promptly.

• Report and arrive to scheduled shifts on time.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and general cleaning.
• Maintain and store all Outdoor Adventure equipment; report safety concerns.
• Support climbing instruction and equipment use as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Description

As an Adventure Crew team member, you are responsible for supporting guests across a variety of Outdoor Adventure attractions. You will play a key role in ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for all visitors. Team members are expected to maintain awareness of potential issues, enforce safety protocols, and create a warm and welcoming environment within their assigned program area.

This position requires professional communication and collaboration with staff from all Outdoor Adventure areas. Adventure Crew members must be proactive in guest engagement, provide clear and accurate instruction on activity guidelines and equipment usage, and demonstrate a high level of adaptability in fast-paced, dynamic environments. A strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to exceptional guest service are essential to this role.

This position reports directly to the Outdoor Adventure Supervisor and Manager.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and ensure guest safety at all times.
• Determine facility access eligibility for each guest.
• Attend and participate in all mandatory staff meetings.
• Check in and check out equipment using established procedures.
• Monitor and enforce all Outdoor Adventure attraction rules and safety guidelines including SkyPark’s Code of Conduct.
• Observe and oversee guests’ climbing and belaying activities; ensure safe practices.
• While on duty in climbing areas, remain in harness and be prepared to belay participants throughout the shift.
• Report and arrive to all scheduled shifts on time.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including tying ropes and anchors, putting away equipment, changing trash bags, vacuuming, and general cleaning.
• Maintain, clean, and properly store all Outdoor Adventure equipment; report any gear or safety concerns to management.
• Support climbing instruction and technical equipment use as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Note: SkyPark provides certification training for new hires.

• Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (Adult and Infant) is required.
• Some attractions require operators to be 18 years of age or older. Work permit required for minors.
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Ability to execute tasks and responsibilities as directed by the Outdoor Adventure Manager.
• Genuine enthusiasm and commitment to creating positive guest experiences.
• Willingness and ability to teach and interact with diverse groups in an outdoor setting.
• Ability to quickly learn and consistently follow safety protocols across all attractions.
• Friendly, team-oriented attitude toward guests and colleagues.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs., including cleaning supplies and furniture.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks such as bending, climbing ladders, standing, and walking for extended periods.

Preferred

• Must be comfortable working at heights and willing to operate in elevated environments.
• Knowledge or experience with adventure and education programs.
• Familiarity with safety standards related to top rope climbing, auto-belays, spotting, and high ropes rescue techniques is a plus.
