Boundless Adventures designs and operates aerial adventure parks featuring a variety of climbing trails. These trails consist of platforms mounted in trees, connected by elements such as zip lines, tight ropes, and wobbly bridges. Each park is crafted to challenge and inspire visitors of all ages and skill levels in a safe and engaging environment. Boundless Adventures is dedicated to providing adventurous experiences that combine physical activity, fun, and personal growth.

Position Summary:

This is a full-time, year-round, on-site role for an Assistant Park Manager based in Berlin, MA. The Assistant Manager reports to the Park General Manager and leads the ground Senior Supervisor and Monitor team. This person shares the responsibility for all park operations including compliance with safety protocols, course/grounds maintenance, daily course/equipment inspections, documentation, training, managing all day to day procedures/processes and overall customer satisfaction along with the General Manager, Senior Supervisor and Monitor team.

Requirements:
  • Previous professional experience in an outdoor recreation industry; for example, aerial adventure park, ziplining, rock climbing, snow or water sports, camping industry etc.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Experience in managing a team, supervising daily operations, and ensuring high employee performance.
  • Customer Service and Communication: Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills to deliver excellent guest experiences
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 50 feet
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs +
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to work long hours during the peak season of May - October
Preferred Qualifications
  • College education
  • Safety and Operational Knowledge: Proficiency in operational safety protocols, equipment management, and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Knowledge of woodworking and associated power tools/equipment
  • Comfortable with Google Workplace
  • Current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications
Job responsibilities in conjunction with management team
  • Staffing – assist GM organizing initial staff training and continuing skills practice and evaluation. Maintain staff readiness and ability, including regular refresh course training.
  • Strategically coordinate daily operations plan according to the reservation schedule, effectively communicating it to the Team.
  • Adapt quickly to constantly changing and evolving situations, including but not limited to emergency and weather-related scenarios and increasing daily reservation counts.
  • Ensure all staff are familiar with operational policies, procedures and processes.
  • Oversee all inspections and maintenance of the park courses.
  • Maintain all course related documentation and logs
  • Maintain all participant and staff PPE along with inspections, logs and documentation
  • Maintain a professional and courteous environment for guests and employees
  • Promote an excellent customer service oriented experience for guests
