Job summary

Palisades Tahoe invites applications for Mountain Host, a seasonal, guest-facing ambassador role. You’ll greet guests in the Village and on the mountain, share terrain knowledge, and promote safety while ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Applicants must be 18+ and capable of skiing or riding at least at an intermediate level. The position offers a base hourly pay range and a benefits package including ride and ski privileges and employee perks.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
6–12 months of experience in a guest-facing position in hospitality.

Responsibilities

Deliver warm, enthusiastic welcome to guests in Village and on mountain.
Maintain knowledge of Palisades Tahoe and local area to guide guests to terrain.
Ski or ride designated routes and engage guests while promoting safety.
Maintain visibility and assist guests in designated slow zones and with signage.
Greet guests at lift tops, share updates and terrain recommendations; uphold safety codes.
Assist guests with ADA access needs, including pushing wheelchairs.
